Dua's For Stomach Pains

2010

We kids have participated in the 3D 18 and May 19, 2010 to a wonderful experience: the "night in the trenches" organized by the Association Schools Outdoor Network in

Before beginning, we thought it was completely different, almost like a picnic, not at all imagine that we would walk up and down mountains for hours, we had to survive by eating the "K ration", ie the daily ration that was given to soldiers during the First World War, we had to devise strategies of war, since we were divided into two groups, Italian soldiers and the soldiers of Austria.

fact, our accompanying teachers (Pozzobon and Cue), we had virtually kept in the dark, because the impact with an atmosphere of war was as strong as possible.

Even the prof. But imagine that we would find prohibitive weather conditions: a cold "polar" (in some places there was still snow) and a strong wind, that, overnight, has even uprooted the poles. This forced us to renounce war simulation planned for the night and prevented us from sleeping in tents or in huts arranged.

Patience! Visit the trenches after dark by the light of some battery power and then spend the night in 14 (including Professor) in one large room (a group of boys has stayed isolated in a hut) was equally interesting and made us touch what were the harsh living conditions of soldiers who fought on Monte Grappa. It was really exciting.

Additionally, we also have fun: thanks to the Civil Defense of the country and to the lords and Antonio Giuliano we have followed and supported in an extraordinary way, and thanks to prof that the morning of the second day, we have organized a race to the relay really busy: some of us it is peeled knees and elbows, so we went home with our injuries (no deaths, thankfully!), as is always at war.
